I guess the robots prime mission is the search for life,or previous life or possible life, organic compounds which maybe within the ice ??? according to the website "subsurface groundwater, which may still exist on Mars today, could harbor life,"

I dunno, I like the findings. I mean, we have seen the presence of CO2 ice, but not water ice like this. It is whether microbial life is going to co-exist that is the intriguing part. Worms in volcanic vents on Earth and all that...
