I guess running it in starrynight is as close as I'm going to get to see something like this..

THAT is amazing. :P

I took a look out last night from north Dublin for SW73 & could hardly make out Vega!!!

But try Jupiter! I also had horrific extinction (about NELM 2!) up here a bit north of Drogheda, but the skies were steadier (Pickering 7 and 8 ) than I've seen them since October.

(Comet hunting with a full moon is going to be rough anyway, even without our damp skies.)
