Guys,

Played around with the images this morning using blurs and levels but still have not got it to a point were the overlaps merge seamlessly.

Dave,
I have done the copy paste in photoshop but I still end up with very sharp edges in the mosaic. I got this far with NLC mosaics and gave up due to blending problems.

Michael,

How are you doing the blending? I would try LIGHTEN. This is how precisely I did the same using two frames: www.perseus.gr/Astro-Lunar-Scenes-Halo.htm ... I even nailed Mars in the image. :D
