The lads at the observing session saw 8+ meteors, I only saw one and not this one as I was buried in the scope eyepiece for most of the time.

i saw it too ronan! i was in louisburgh in co. mayo and there wasnt a streetlight within a mile of me! lit up the whole sky! streaked thru the milky way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the difference between a Fireball and a Meteor:?

I saw what I would have called a Meteor on Sat @ approx 10.40pm with a 3 second tail. It was right across the face of the Plough. It was almost like a line joining the stars

I saw what I would have called a Meteor on Sat @ approx 10.40pm with a 3 second tail. It was right across the face of the Plough. It was almost like a line joining the stars. Saw a total of 5 meteors in about 40mins on Sat in total.
