Clear tonight? was created by Frank Ryan
Just wondering how the rest of ye are fairing out tonight?
I had a good feeling tonight would be clear but then as I was driving home
I spotted a big chunk of bloody rock in my rear view.
So I guess I'll just look at that then.
I've no work tomorrow so i was thinkin about tryin for another shot at Mars.
Looks like it'll be high in the South by about 3.

There are some high 'clouds' here though
(fn contrails from planes flying over Shannon)
Whats the weather like round your parts?

Clearish but very hazy and moonwashed here in Larne Frank. It clouded over in the NW until after LONEOS had set too.

I was also thinking of setting the alarm for the wee hours and having a go at Mars. The seeing is supposed to be very good tonight, and a few high clouds shouldn't matter.

The moon puts paid to pretty much everything else I'd want to look at....

Well the Moon won't make too much difference at about 4 am for Mars.
I was hoping to get the dob out but now i'm not going to bother.
