Computer power problem

No problem Bill.
I remember how it felt all those years ago when I first looked into a PC.
I cant promise you anything, but maybe we can narrow down the problem to a praticular item.

The trouble is with Daves suggestion, I will bring it along, plug it in and it will work, sods law! :evil: But i can go wih that, it won't be the first time a machine has made me look a pure idiot :oops:
Maybe Jouke will have a suggestion in the meantime when we meet.
I shall have a look at these connections and unplug them. I don't suppose I can do much more damage (famous last words).

OK now if your up to it disconnect all leads from PSU (power supply unit) to various componants in PC and do that test again.

Thats the scariest thing since I met my mother-in-law :shock: I'm afraid the coward in me wouldn't let me disconnect all those wires I really don't think I could put them back in the same place, some of the multi-lead connections were pretty well secure as well. I better leave that for someone else to do
