Hey Dave ... AstroSystems in Colorado sells an inexpensive secondary heater that you can glue directly to the back of that three inch mirror. It will run all night on a 9-volt battery and sit right there nestled on the spider hub. I used one on my 24" for ten years and always kept my 5" secondary dry.

I have a dew heater in there , I just hadn't it hooked up to anything, this is one of a number of "small" thingys I must get around to.
