Hi Michael and Welcome.....

You are not alone in the Sunny??????? South East. There are a few like minded people in the Waterford area.

Feel free to check out whats happening locally at www.deiseastronomy.com

The web site for the Waterford Astro Soc.

You will also find that these boards here at IFAS are full of very helpful and experienced people, who will be only too glad to answer your queries. Thats how I learned..... and am still learning

CJ - thanks for the tip on "Turn Left at Orion". I'll definitely pick it up.

Steve - will keep an eye on the website. Might even take a trip to your next get together - if we ever see a clear sky again!
