i'm getting lovely shots by over exposing the moon now, the penumbral and umbrals are visible easily...

i'm on a powercord too, and the coffee machine is on!!! I'm going to pop down to my local river at totality to photograph the reflection... got one a bit earlier too. I never stop typing, it keeps you warm!!!

getting great images ... will be a long night /day to process them

is actually not that cold ... only just back from a week in Finland for work... was -14 with snow... :shock: and all clouds ..poor sods... good to be home again

Couldn't ask for better conditions here. Really nice in the 15x70s. I suspect this could be a really dark eclipse. Hard to see the limb of the moon even in binoculars.
