Lovely, then count me in.

Glad to be able to put something into the site and IFAS in general.

Extra astronomy bulletin boards, "SO WHAT"
Are we now trying to prevent individuals setting up an astronomy board because we believe this one is perfect (even if it is) and is the only one we should read?
I have no problem with others setting these up but dont log into boards that dont interest me.
The obvious soultion is to delete them from your bookmarks

Funny enough, our own website is been redesigned at the moment, one of the question we pondered over was, is there a need for a bulliten board, it was decided that there wasn't.

When you say "our" website, I presume you mean the SAC website, yea?

I thought that would usually go down to the individual who does the website too. Fr example, am I correct Michael Scully does the SAC website? Could he, if he wanted to, add a bulletin boards to the site without the need for consent from SAC?

Michael, I do mean the SAC website,

Seanie, the decision reached is not solely my decision, the new webmaster agreed also as did a few others, it just wouldn't be used.

Michael Scully maintained the clubs website up until quite receintly, and an excellent job he did to. Mark Cahill is the new webmaster and is busy working behind the scenes on building a new site, this is something he expressed alot of interesting in doing and Michael Scully was grand with it also. All going well, it'll to be finished in the not too distant future.
