Some people have bought them, removed the 70mm scope and put on the PST instead.
Now, I know what you're thinking, a solar scope with goto for 1,400 objects!
I think the idea of it is so that they have mount which tracks.

This sounds like a very good deal. Has anybody out there got one of these already? and is there a PC control hookup?
Also, if people find this in there local LIDL can they post that here. I find that not every shop carrys all the specials, they seem to spread the various specials over many stores and not carry the lot in any single store. The LIDL I go to didn't get the zoom binos al all

Eh...... John, it was Aldi that had the zoom binos, not Lidl :oops:
