Sounds like my kind of Eclipse!

I'm doing great thanks - verrrry little astronomy
as of late because of the new arrival...
not to mention the worst weather here in 50 years!!

But it's invigorating to see all the familiar faces
enjoying the hobby in Greece.
It's very hard to plan anything here...
you must always preface it with
'weather permitting'
Lately...
it's been very trying...
I think I'll take up radio astronomy!
:silly:

Hopefully you guys will arrive here some day,
my house is yours
(as long as you don't mind being woken at 1AM / 3AM / 5AM
:P )

Did you guys catch any of the Jupiter moon events this month?
We of course were clouded out...
I was really looking forward to seeing them.

Hey Frank,
Don't worry, when we'll be there he will sleep all night long;)
We would like so much to drink some beers all together again!

Just a short video from last week holiday under the amazing skies
of Mt. Parnon! Some tests with the watec 120N+

ps. Vagelis, I like your dreams! Kyriaki will be in the same atol with us a?

report from Mt. Parnon
Hi all,
yes, i am here again, with Kyriaki. We arrived last night and set up our tent on the mountain slope facing the field. The sky was excellent, 6.5 mag. We occasionally observed meteors visually from 18 to 19 UT and from 01 to 01:30 UT. We saw 5 perseids and 2-3 sporadic (maybe Aquarids or Pegasids). Tonight we will try whole night video with Watec.
Frank, thanks alot!
(ps: the new arrival sounds pretty much regulated!
Yannis, if we consider her attitude at the Shanghai aquarium, I don't think she loves sharks!

Yiannis,
Is that video all your own work? Pretty amazing footage you got there! For a YouTube clip, it's in remarkable resolution, I'd like to see a larger size of it.

Seanie & Michael Thanks!:)

Seanie I don't really know where i could upload a larger resolution for these videos.
With this watec 120N+ an expert in stacking software can do amazing things,
but not me:silly:
I'm interested only making videos of occultations or mutual events.
I'll try to upload also some tests of M27 and M57.
The camera is less sensitive than watec 902 in real time for occultations or
a meteor shower but is really impressive what can captures
with the different shutter speeds.
