It was a swing of about 120nT at max at about 10pm then again at midnight and lower swings after (see my graphs here and my own post). So twice at storm levels which is almost assured visible aurora hence my post here about 10pm i think and then its was active (90-100nT) which is a good chance of visiblity and probably equates to your low level greens.
as ive said elsewhere geomagnetism seems to be a black art. For example a kp of 4 over the states requires a kp of 9 in europe in order to see aurorae due to the tilt of the aurora oval toward Canada. Im only collecting data about 4 months so i dont have a full year of data to compare my results to, but i have a fair idea as to what swings will give aurora visibilty or not.
