ah, can I change my last comment . . . I think to go to Wexford might be a better prospect. Met Check is giving 60% cloud cover for Thursday morning instead of 100% elsewhere. Aarrgggggghhhhhhhhh :?

Anyone daring to make an excursion out tonight to see this eclipse ??
Has anyone got even a patchy sky, any sightings of the moon so far ???

Not in Dublin. Very windy, lots of rain. I expect the coastal roads and DART to be out once the tides rise in the next couple of hours.

no chance of even a glimpse.

Unfortunately same problem here in Greece. Many patches of white clouds with very little blue sky in between. I was hoping for a couple of time series sequences (moon trail method and timed multi-exposures) but I do not have enough clear sky for them to be possible.

I may stick around between 04:14 and 07:20 local time to see if I can squeeze some photos, any photos, from this "last eclipse". The next one seems so far away (2007).

Yea, we're in full blown storm conditions down here in Limerick also.
The clouds are flying across the sky.....
