Frank/Michael,

This is something that crossed my mind as well since it opens up the possibility of stunning photos involving the setting eclipsed sun. To add insult to injury, imagine Easter Island clouded out and such photos of the setting eclipsed sun being the only ones available.

Of course, Argentina is also included.

Anthony.

A little trivia I found about Easter Island.

Easter Island in the South Pacific is officially The Worlds Most Isolated Island as it has an Isolation Index of 149. This is worked out by adding together the square root of the distance to the nearest island, group of Islands and Continent.

Anyone interested in the cheapest option of French Polynesia ( tropicalsails.com/2010-Solar-Eclipse-Cruise.pdf ) should PM me. I might have a 1-person slot available.
