Sorry Eirik - the fact that Photoshop is 'proprietary' software would potentially develop this thread into an interesting discussion. Not that it isn't already of course :D

"Light the blue touch paper, stand back and watch the fireworks"

hehe ok, that was also one one the meanings i found for the expression. But one told me it also could mean, "try it but im not sure how it will turn out or if it works" as:

"A common fuse for garden fireworks, the expression 'light the blue touchpaper and retire' has entered the English language as a colloquialism. It is never used in display fireworks having no accuracy of timing."

You dont know how well it works ..

dpower: Thats nice :) Only thing i noticed at first glance is the thik grey border, i would maybe use a bit thinner and use black or verry dark blue, so it goes with the header/banner

Dave P - now *that* is really nice. Clean lines, pleasant colours and that's a super header.

I really like that logo. It has all the elements previously discussed yet is simple, clean and professional looking.

No disrepect to anyone else's designs, but this is by far the best I've seen. I could look at a web site like that for years :D

Cheers

Dave

Very nice touch Dave, got my vote anyway.

Can we do anthing about an overall background? to seperate the page's white background from the "main frame's" white background? The grey border, in my opinion, is not enough.
