Feedback wanted - Preliminary look at Version 3 of website

Very nice Dave.
I have to say it did remind me of a new FAI or rugby logo, but I really like it all the same.
What about the center? is there something more dramatic then an elongated circle with a dark star we could put in there?? is there something else we could put in there without going over the top??

How about an ireland outline/image in the center, what would that look like??

hmmm. not sure about outline of Ireland- it's a bit too literal and a complex shape. I'm open to suggestion though. At the moment it's 'supposed' to be a pupil with the star as the highlight of the eye. Keep brainstroming! Anyone who feels like messing with the vector file is more than welcome to.

I like it, How about making the centre an image of a moon phase and keep the star somehow :

It could be just a star?
Whatever it is, it needs to be a fairly non-complex shape.

OK, just to throw in some feedback:

1) Green White and Organe is a REALLY bad idea for an All-Ireland body.
2) It reminds me of nothing but rugby unfortunately and not of Astronomy. I get the Galxy idea and I like it but perhaps it's too abstract because had you not told me it was based on a Galaxy I would have had no idea.

On the first point- perhaps it's valid, but on the other hand they are our national colours. I've been down this road before... I guess it's an IFAS policy matter- you lot just let me know about the colours. I'm gonna sit on the fence.

Second point- I'll see what I can do to make it more galaxy like- watch this space.
